Former Big Brother Naija ‘double wahala’ finalist, Alex Asogwa has called out Governor Sanwo Olu over how officials of the SWAT enforcement unit always ask infuriating questions and are dressed in night wear and are always searching cars.
The reality star stated that she is always termed as “impatient” anytime she argues with them.
“@jidesanwoolu what in the name of a country is FSWAT? Why are they putting on what looks like night wears, standing at corners, searching cars, and asking infuriating questions like “Where do you work? Show me your ID card and car paper, Let me see your phone, Open your bag, I’m questioning him because he looks like… You’ll stop me beside water by a bend after I’ve had a long day and when I argue, it’ll be that I’m impatient. Are we back to this?”.
Kemi Filani News recalls Alex Unusual had cried out about being traumatized after she witnessed an accident scene in the Lekki area of Lagos.
In a post shared on her Instagram story, Alex said she and her friend saw an accident victim convulsing on the floor after being hit along the road.
Alex said people were reluctant about helping the accident victim due to some innocent people had gotten into trouble while saving lives in such cases.
The reality star questioned how Nigeria got to such a position where they no longer offer help to people over the fear of the unknown.
She wrote: I need to sleep. On my way home, just before the Lekki tollgate, we saw a boy convulsing on the floor almost in the middle of the road. He had just been hit by a car.
It was too late for us to stop and by the time we made the turn back, some people have put him on a bike and rushed him to the hospital. I had to join the woman to screen abeg in confused state as the bike man was a bit reluctant.
My friend is pissed because of the way I screamed and said we should turn back but how did we get here Nigerian? Cars were just passing like nothing happened. I’ve heard you get into trouble for helping people in such cases but this broke my heart.
I’ve never witnessed something like this in my life, my day is ruined, I pray he survives and I hope I feel better when I get little rest.
