Nollywood actress, Allwell Ademola has revealed why she is still unmarried at 41.
The movie star, who celebrated her birthday a day back, in an interview with her colleague, Biola Bayo on her YouTube program, Talk to B, opened up on her dating life.
According to Allwell, she would have gotten married in 2005 but death took the love of her life away.
She disclosed that she was on a call with him when he was shot. Allwell stated that the incident left her traumatized for two years.
“I know a lot of people who don’t want to be married and want to be alone. I know those who want to be married but don’t want kids.
I was supposed to have gotten married in 2005, but he died in November, that same year. I was talking to him on phone when he got shot. I lost my mind for 2 years”.

Recall that last month, Allwell had marked the remembrance of her lover.
Taking to Instagram, Allwell noted how he was a good man and her everything.
She revealed that she had made a promise to herself to wait for his return, but he never did.
Expressing how much she missed him, she prayed for him to rest on.
“Every Dec 9 marks your departure NJ. You were a good man. My friend, partner, brother, supporter, confidant, and all that. I said I would wait for your return but you never did. I MISS YOU. Rest on”.

Following the death of her fiance, Allwell made headlines when she dated her late fiancee’s best man.
Opening up about it in an interview, she revealed how she was able to move on from his death.
Admitting to moving on with his best man, she clarified that the best man was her best friend and they had known each other before her fiance.
Question: I learned that after you lost your fiancé two months before your wedding, you moved on with his best man, how true?
“Yes, I lost my man two months before our wedding. Armed robbers shot him and I mourned him for two years, and then I moved on with our best man. Yes, it’s true. He was my best friend even before I met my fiancé, so I planned to make my best friend the best man at my wedding. Unfortunately and fortunately, his fiancée jilted him at about the same time I lost my fiancé; so, he felt maybe, God didn’t want us as just friends. So, he proposed to me. What do you expect from a heartbroken woman at her lowest? I fell for it.
How did you deal with the heartbreak?
I had people around me who showed me so much love and support, and eventually, I scaled through.
