Anita Okoye, the ex-wife of Nigerian singer and second half of famous music group Psquare, Paul Okoye, has shared a cryptic post amid Psquare’s fallout.
Taking to her Instagram story, the mother of three shared a clip of someone laughing as she stated that this is how she feels when people get mad cause they can’t figure out how she is still being blessed after they’ve created fake narratives, lied and slandered her name.
“When they mad cause they can’t figure out how you’re still being blessed after they’ve created fake narratives, lied and slandered your name”.
The post came hours after Peter Okoye took to his Instagram page to shed light on his split with his twin brother, Paul. Peter let his twin brother know that he was not in any competition with him or anybody else. He stated that seeing him grant several interviews where he constantly discredits his efforts in the group they both created and built speaks volumes.
The father of two noted how Paul, rather than joining forces with him to reclaim their number one spot in the music industry, chose to team up with their elder brother, Jude Okoye, to marginalise and humiliate him. He further claimed that his twin brother has constantly disrespected him, his wife, his family, his talent, his ideas and more.
Recall that Anita filed for divorce in 2022 on the grounds of cheating, separation, being an absentee father, fraud, and difficult experiences. A year after she filed for divorce, an Abuja High Court sitting in Maitama granted Anita and Paul Okoye a divorce, with a monthly settlement of $20,000 and a number of her husband’s mansions.
The former couple kept things amicable despite their divorce until recently, when they unfollowed each other after Paul bought a second mansion in the US, presumably for his pregnant wife.
