Nollywood actress, Annie Idibia was left speechless when American actress and singer, Keke Palmer publicly praised her.
The actress who starred in Akeelah and the bee movie had watched Young, Famous and African reality show and was highly impressed and smitten with Annie Idibia’s personality.
Keke Palmer tweeted, “Who’s watch Young Famous and African on @netflix?? I’m hooked”.
She didn’t stop there, she also gave a shout out to Annie and her husband as she professed love for them.
“Love you @annieidibia1! Do good, love to you and @official2baba”.
An overjoyed Annie took to her Instagram page to share the good news with her fanmily.
Annie urged them to bombard the actress’s page with love from her.
The wife of 2baba noted how she and her kids watched all her movies especially Akeelah and the bee.
Expressing her joy, Annie Idibia showered her with love and appreciated her for the recognition.

According to Annie Idibia, she gave the show her all. She let them film her as a mother, as a wife and lover, and as a career woman, however only the wife and lover scenes made it to the final cut and production.
She made this known following the different _____mixed reactions that trailed Annie’s story in the reality series.
Crying out via her Insta story, Annie Idibia wrote “When I said my name is Annie Macaulay…you will know about me…..I knew all the loads of work I was doing out there for 4 whole months!! Everything was taken out too…all the hard work!!! There was Annie, the career woman, filmed the “mother”….filmed too, then there was the lover gurl, wife, renewal was the icing on the cake, but hey, let’s all ho on with our perfect lives, i gave my all out there but as usual, the same old thingy…
have to do the WORK 10 times harder and more to be acknowledged and given credit because I am married to a man who has been very big and internationally known, this is what I am talking about…
So many great scenes were taken out of the show like sooooooo many, at the end of the day, hummm. I didn’t go to SA for whole months to plan a wedding, I went there to work, I was working my butt off every single day in Johannesburg….was hosting lots of gig there too, did a lot of shoot covers, radios/tv interviews and most importantly to also start my household essentials cleaning company!”
