Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has emotionally opened up about losing twins on the popular hit reality show Young Famous and African.
While speaking to one of her co-stars, Quinton Masina, aka Naked DJ, she revealed that she suffered a miscarriage while pregnant with twins one year ago. Annie stated that this was the reason she wasn’t showing up so much on the show and attending events.
A heartbroken Annie described 2024 as a really hard year for her and her family and admitted that she wished she had someone in the house to open up to.
“You know like, the whole of last year, even in the group, you know I wasn’t coming out enough. Naked, I was pregnant. For twins. I had a miscarriage the whole time.”
“I wish I had someone in this group that I could actually go like, ‘I’m pregnant, we’re going to have a baby’… And then, we lost that. It was hard.”
Her bombshell revelation has stirred the internet as while some sympathize with her, others questioned if she wasn’t too old to be pregnant.

Last week, Annie had trended online after she shared clips of her Detty December with her husband and gushed over their union. The mother of two told her haters and critics, who she referred to as devil and witches to give it up as it has been 25 years of friendship and 13 years of marriage with him.
In September, last year, Annie reflected on their beautiful memories as she shared photos of them over the years. Annie stated that regardless of the scandals and cheating, she still loves her husband and would love him till death.
Recall that in 2021, the Idibia’s marriage almost hit the rock as Annie Idibia publicly called out her husband, accusing him of having an affair with his second baby mama, Pero Adeniyi. However, the couple was able to settle their differences and in 2023, 2baba denounced his role model title after tendering a public apology to her.
Annie poured out her heart to 2baba, stating that her husband isn’t just her man; he is her home, rest, heart, and safe place. She added that 2baba is hers and she is his.
On Valentine’s Day, last year Annie had penned a love note to 2baba for their 12th proposal anniversary. She revealed that despite they had disagreement before their anniversary, and she admitted she is stubborn, she loves the way he loves her amidst their fights, which sometimes is on purpose.
