Isabella Idibia, the eldest daughter of legendary singer, 2baba, and his wife, Annie Idibia has reacted to a shading video about her mother.
The TikTok star had reposted a video of a lady dancing to Bracket and Wizkid’s song, Girl. In her caption, the lady threw shade at Annie Idibia, stating that though she might love a man, she isn’t as delusional as 2baba’s wife, Annie.
“Just because I say I love you doesn’t mean I’ll be delulu like 2baba’s wife”.
Surprisingly, Isabella reposted the shading video on her TikTok page along with a caption, making it known that it was her current mood.
Many took to the comment section to question why she would be shading her mother. Reacting to them, Isabella made it known that she didn’t agree with the lady’s statement but was just catching cruise.
“Y’all I am not agreeing with what she’s saying o”.
It is not news that the marriage between 2baba and Annie Idibia has been rocky and was almost on the verge of divorce.
Recall that in 2021, the Idibia’s marriage almost hit the rock as Annie Idibia publicly called out her husband, accusing him of having an affair with his second baby mama, Pero Adeniyi.
Annie also dragged his family, accusing them of not loving and caring about her since their marriage. She further claimed that 2baba spent nights under the same roof with his children’s mother, Pero Adeniyi, when he was visiting their kids and slammed her brother-in-law, Hyacinth Idibia, for once housing the singer, his kids, and Pero under the same roof.
Name-dropping some of 2baba’s friends and manager, she laid several allegations on Pero Adeniyi.
Standing up for his brother, Charles Idibia, slammed Annie and accused her of ranting online because she didn’t get her way. He went on to expose the actress and the two clashed on social media with Annie Idibia taking down the ‘Idibia’ surname.
However, the couple was able to settle their differences and last year, 2baba denounced his role model title after tendering a public apology to her.
He made it clear that he wasn’t looking for sympathy while admitting that he has been a shitty father, husband, and baby daddy and he has no excuses for that. Annie, as always accepted the apology and reaffirmed her love for him.
Last year, Annie reflected on the drama, as she stated that she doesn’t know how she survived that scandal, but credited it to Grace.
The movie star later reassured 2baba of her love for him, as she declared him her only one and soulmate.
During Valentine’s week, the couple celebrated their 12th proposal anniversary.
Annie, penning a romantic note to 2baba, noted how 12 years ago he proposed to her, and since then, Valentine’s Day has become their anniversary.
She revealed that despite they had a disagreement a day back, and she knows she is stubborn, she loves the way he loves her amidst their fights. She admitted that sometimes she misses it when they fight and would intentionally do something to annoy me.
