Peruzzi has entered the Davido and Wizkid’s beef once again. This time around, he trolled the singer by shading him for not having successful artists under his record label.
Wizkid had a handful of artists signed under his record label, and they came out to the public eye when he released his hit song Soco.
Artists like Badboy Terry and Ceazamilli were under Wizkid’s record label, and for a while, their careers seemed promising.
Ceazamilli was the first to go AWOL, while Badboy Terry had a few successful hits after he was signed to Starboy Records.
Mr Eazi was also under Wizkid during the early stages of his career, and he has gone on to become one of the biggest artists in Nigeria. His career grew so well that he signed Joeboy, who had gone on to create his own record label.
Davido on the other hand has helped a lot of musicians boost their careers. Musicians like Mayorkun, Dremo, Peruzzi, and a host of others became successful while they were signed under Davido’s record label.
He often featured on their songs, and this helped to boost their individual careers, while placing them in the spotlight.
The artist that had a lot of hit songs under Davido’s record label was Mayorkun, and he released a lot of hits back to back. Mayorkun also won a lot of awards when he was still a budding artist.
Recently, the singer was involved a ritual scandal, alongside Skiibii, when he was accused by Nickie dabarbie of lacing her coffee. She also accused him of being a ritualist. He responded in mind by slamming her with a one-billion Naira lawsuit for defamation.
Peruzzi on the other hand seems to have focused more on his songwriting skills, as he doesn’t release songs as often as he did in the past.
The fact that Peruzzi writes songs for Davido served as a yardstick for Wizkid to troll him with. He responded by insinuating that Wizkid wishes that he worked with him.
