After several days of online disputes, Dotun’s ex-wife has released another statement addressing the ongoing child custody controversy between her and her ex husband.
She revealed that everyone supporting Dotun should indeed “get him” as a husband, implying that he had been a terrible husband to her. In her lengthy note, she made it clear that she was finished with their public back-and-forth on social media. Instead, she proposed resolving their issues in court.
The turmoil began when Dotun revealed that his ex-wife was not allowing him to see their children. He presented videos and evidence to support his claims. Three days ago, he gave a 24-hour ultimatum to his ex-wife, her brother, and D’Banj, demanding access to the kids. When the ultimatum passed without resolution, he turned to social media, even conducting an emotional interview with Daddy Freeze in which he tearfully pleaded for access to his children.
His wife eventually released a statement, promising to grant him access to the kids. However, she also shared some details about their past, claiming that Dotun had not been present for the birth of their first child due to a lack of an American visa. In response, Dotun shared evidence that refuted this claim, including photos and videos of his presence at the birth and his American visa.
In her recent statement, Dotun’s ex-wife declared that she would no longer engage in online disputes with him. Instead, she called for any underlying issues to be resolved in a court of law. She also mentioned that Dotun appeared to be reveling in the online attention and had a tendency to bully others, which resulted in people sending her harassing messages and even death threats.
