In a recent development, Apostle Femi Lazarus has slammed those who come for pastors with bodyguards.
He expressed that there was a rising trend of Christians who constantly slam pastors who have bodyguards while working with them.
However, he revealed that if celebrities could have bodyguards, why should pastors not also have access to bodyguards, especially if it was for safety reasons?
He also called out netizens for their hypocrisy when it comes to men of God. Now, also recall that just two days ago, Kemi Filani has reported that Pastor Femi Lazarus had cautioned singles against marrying someone they don’t love.
He advised singles to not get married to someone that they don’t love. He also stated that people should never get married with the mind of agape love because forever was a long time to be with somebody that they were not romantically interested in.
He further expressed how people should learn to marry people that they are actually in love with rather than people that they feel a religious connection with.
He hammered on the importance of being with somebody that you actually want to spend time with, not just someone you constantly want to pray with.
Now, also recall that back in January of 2024, Apostle Femi Lazarus had called out students who leave their studies to attend fellowship. He spoke out against students who always prioritise church fellowships over their studies as he revealed the importance of focusing on academics.
He also further revealed that most individuals are being sponsored by parents who use their hard-earned money and sweat and so naturally they should commit to their studies. He revealed that there was a time for everything and it was important for people to know when to focus on the right things at the right time.
Now, also recall that in the same vein, Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo had spoken out about marriage and he had cautioned women who prioritise marriage over their relationship with God. He stressed on the importance of women not being desperate to get married because when you are desperate, you make desperate decisions which will lead to regrettable outcomes.
He advised them not to be so quick in jumping into marriages because of their age so that they don’t make the decisions that they might have to regret for the rest of their lives.
