Nigerian singer and wave of the moment Asake is currently under fire after allegedly breaking a fan’s iPhone 16 Promax.
In videos making rounds online, the fan was trying to take a picture of him and the singer, who is his idol. Unfortunately for him, Asake smashed his phone on the ground leaving the iPhone 16 promax broken. Despite his behavior, the fan still expressed his love for him.
The incident happened in Germany after Asake’s concert after party.
The video, which has gone viral, has elicited backlash from netizens.

In February, Davidoâs bouncer, Lati, came under fire after a video of him assaulting the singerâs fan went viral. Following the backlash, Lati had allegedly compensated him for the assault with N200k and had reached out to him to apologise for his wrongdoing.
Reacting to it, Anita Joseph had reacted to the video, describing it as unfair and questioning what triggered him.
Skitmaker and content creator, Mr Macaroni expressed how saddening he was seeing the video as he described it as condemnable and dehumanizing.
In another tweet, he admonished fans to respect the privacy of celebrities as he noted how respect is reciprocal. In a message to celebrities, he told them to treat their fans with respect and dignity.
