Actress Linda Ejiofor Suleiman’s refusal to publicly celebrate her colleague and former best friend, Adesua Etomi on her birthday today, February 22, 2022 has confirmed the speculations of their relationship gone sour.
Kemi Filani reports that for sometime now, the former best friends have not been involved in each other’s space.
It will be recalled that Linda Ejiofor and Adesua Etomi’s enviable relationship used to inspire fans but same can’t be said anymore.
For instance when Adesua Etomi had her son, Linda did not post about it unlike some other close colleagues who did. Also when Adesua Etomi shared a video of the special friends she informed about the arrival of her son, Zee in celebration of his first birthday, Linda Ejiofor wasn’t in it.
Another instance was when Adesua Etomi’s song ‘So Natural” was released a few days ago, Linda Ejiofor failed to post about it on her page unlike other colleagues like Bisola Aiyeola, Bimbo Ademoye, Jemima Osunde who did to support their home girl.
The fall out became evident today when Linda posted nothing to celebrate Adesua Etomi, who was her chiefbridesmaid at her wedding to actor Ibrahim Suleiman in 2018.
Fans took to the comment section of a video Linda posted on her Instagram page hours ago to query her for not celebrating her friend.
“I love your friendship with Susu if you guys are not in good terms can you settle already. Atleast celebrate her today…” One Alicia wrote
While one Preshhy responded saying ” thought I was d only one who noticed oh💔…Their friendship was goals meenn”
Could it be that their spouses, Banky Wellington and Ibrahim Suleiman played roles in their drift apart?
“Linda has gummed to her husband, only him and no time for anyone else. She doesn’t even celebrate or mix with anyone else apart from him and Adesua Etomi is tired of always being the one pushing for their relationship to continue…” an insider told Kemi Filani News.
Time will tell.
Update: Linda Ejiofor finally bowed to pressure and posted a photo of Adesua Etomi on her Insta story at 8:55pm with a bleh caption, unlike when they used to shower each other with the most beautiful and longest paragraphs for their birthday celebrations.
