UK-based author and content creator Toni Tone has revealed how a UK hotel mistook her for popular Nigerian actress Toni Tones.
Taking to her Instagram story, the author, who was at the London premiere of the Wicked movie, which stars Ariana Grande and others, had revealed how the hotel she was staying in welcomed her in grand style. The UK hotel had printed photos of the author and placed them in her hotel room, unfortunately, the pictures weren’t that of Toni Tone but of actress, Toni Tones, who is her namesake
Toni, who wasn’t offended, stated that the thought is what matters to her, and she thinks it is cute.
“I thought this was a cute touch until I realized that it wasn’t me, and they printed photos of the wrong Toni. This is a Nollywood actress called Gbemi, who goes by the name Toni Tones with an S. It’s the thought that counts, I guess”.

Early this year, Toni Tone dished out advice to men, expressing that if a man is looking for a homemaker wife who does not care about degrees, then the man should endeavor to choose that type of woman who is not interested in degrees. She stated that it was weird for a man to find a career-focused woman and then tell her to drop her degrees to become a homemaker wife.
She went on to state that a man’s preference is not the problem, but they should try to focus their attention on where it is needed.
In a previous post, she revealed how women bring misfortune to themselves when they display their nude pictures online. According to Toni, though one of the easiest ways to get followers on social media is by posting nudes, it is also the fastest way to pursue premium brands. She admonished women to think ‘quality,’ not just quantity when trying to build a brand.
