Nollywood actor and stand-up comedian, Ayodeji Richard Makun popularly known as AY has boldly celebrated the son of his biggest rival and colleague Bright Okpocha simply known as Basketmouth as he clocks 16 today.
A few minutes ago Kemi Filani reported that a proud Basketmouth shared lovely photos of himself and his son’s growth into his teenage years to adore and welcome him into a memorable 16th birthday.
The father of four declared today as a public holiday for his son who is a king. He also noted that his first son is his everything.
Basketmouth wrote with the photos on his Instagram page, “On this day, 16yrs ago…a king was born. In actual fact, May 9th should be declared a public holiday. Hold on let me talk to the Federal Government. This is totally wrong.
Happy Birthday Jason, you’re my everything! Wishing you a happy and memorable birthday. Love you son.”
Ayo Makun followed suit in bold manner. He took to Basketmouth’s timeline to celebrate his son.
The father of two wished Jason happiness on his birthday and prayed that God’s grace will continue to light his path and guide him to a future filled with contentment.
“Happy birthday, Jason . May God’s grace continue to light your path, guiding you towards a future filled with success and contentment.”
It is no news that Basketmouth and AY have a rivalry that runs deep.
Kemi Filani recalls that Ayo Makun disclosed what transpired between himself and Basketmouth in 20065-@6 led to their beef.
In an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, the father of two went down memory lane and recounted that events that led to their drama. He mentioned the drama on Basketmouth’s wedding, how he was cancelled in any show that the latter is appearing for and many more.
However, in a podcast with the Honest Bunch crew, Basketmouth disclosed claimed he had never had any close or personal relationship with AY.
He also disclosed that he came in contact with AY through comedy king, Ali Baba, and he had never mentored him before.
Basketmouth claimed something else, which he will not disclose, happened between him and AY, and no client was involved in their feud.
The father of three alleged that AY was using lies about their feud to promote his upcoming show, stating that it is his usual style.
