Nollywood actor and comedian Ayodeji Richard Makun simply known as AY or Ayo Makun has penned a sweet note to his beloved sister, Morenike Makun, whom he tagged to be his social media girlfriend.
The popular comedian shared a video of his sister in his verified Instagram page wishing her well with prayers and love.
Ayo Makun prayed that his sister would have a day filled with love, laughter and joy.
“Happy birthday to my lovely sister (who is also one of my girlfriends on social media) @bimbomakun_olukoya. May God bless you abundantly on your special day. I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, and joy.”
Kemi Filani recalls that Ayo Makun confirmed the end of his almost 20 year relationship with his wife, Mabel Makun.
The famous stand up comedian expressed regrets for losing his home and admitted doing things that are not good during the course of the marriage.
He however warned against projecting the wrong narrative about him and his family, which he found injurious to his teenage daughter.
His wife, on the other hand, fired him and said distance is the way she responds to disrespect and she’s not ready to drive into any drama instead she removes herself from it.
The marriage controversy started when Mabel Makun made a post, hinting at a divorce. She was called bluff while others thought it was a publicity stunt for his Netflix releases movie, Merry Men 3. Also, there was no hint of divorce from either of them, and just recently, he celebrated her birthday online.
