Nigerian comedian and actor, Ayo Makun better known as AY has come under fire as he shows off the benefits of his crashed marriage to Mabel Makun.
On Sunday night, AY confirmed the end of his almost 20-year relationship with Mabel Makun, expressing regrets for losing his home which had taken him almost 20 years to build, and also admitted to doing things that were compromising during the marriage.
He however warned against projecting the wrong narrative about him and his his family, which he found injurious to his teenage daughter. Hinting at the possible fault from his wife, Ayo Makun claimed no one is completely innocent and stated that “women always play the victims and win.”
Hours ago after his post, AY took to his Instagram page to share a video clip of his daughter, Michelle. His mini-me had accompanied him to the wedding of his sister, Morenike on Saturday, which hai estranged wife shunned.
In his caption, AY made it known that his children are the only benefits from his crashed marriage.
His caption didn’t sit well with many s they mercilessly dragged him for being immature and selfish.

Mabel had also confirmed her crashed marriage as she shared a cryptic post, hours after AY dissed her with his announcement.
Mabel Makun fired and said distance is the way she responds to disrespect and she’s not ready to drive into any drama instead she removes herself from it.
There have been speculations online for the past few weeks that the couple are no longer together. Netizens started noticing the loopholes in their marriage after Mabel shared several cryptic messages early this year, crying over being mentally abused and threats to her life. Kemi Filani noticed that the couple briefly unfollowed each other on Instagram.
It became more obvious that the couple were not on talking terms when Mabel failed to promote Merry Men 3, which was unlike her, as she was always supportive of her husband’s business. To make it more obvious, she was absent at some of his family’s gatherings, especially his sister, Morenike’s wedding during the weekend.
AY’s brief birthday note for his wife, which was unromantic, also called for questioning.
Spilling the beans, Gistlover claimed that things turned sour for the couple after AY lost his Lagos mansion to a fire outbreak and was flirting around when Mabel was using her money to fund the family.
Things took a nosedive after Mabel came clean to a family member about the series of infections she had been treating because of him, which AY denied and this led to him almost beating Mabel.
