Nigerian comedian and box office king, Ayo Makun has elicited reactions from his fans and followers over his birthday message to his wife, Mabel Makun.
Kemi Filani reported that Ayo Makun had fueled more rumors of a marital crisis between him and Mabel with his unromantic birthday message to her. Taking to his Instagram page, the actor cum comedian, gave a shout-out to Mabel, tagging her as the mother of his lovely kids. Unlike his previous birthday posts, where he always wrote sweet words for her, this birthday message was without any romantic words. The father of two went on to say a word of prayer for her.
Taking to his comment section, many of his fans noted how he has reduced Mabel Makun to the mother of his kids.

Kemi Filani reported earlier this year that all doesn’t seem too well between AY and his beautiful wife, Mabel Makun, as the interior designer had hinted at a marital crisis with the cryptic posts she posted online, crying out over threats to life.
In a follow-up post, Mabel revealed that she has been abused mentally and all around for way too long, and has had enough of it.
Kemi Filani dug further into it and noticed that Ayo Makun and his wife had briefly unfollowed each other on Instagram.
This came as a surprise as the couple celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary in November and in December, Ayo sang the praises of Mabel Makun.
