Nigerian comedian Ayo Makun has defended 2baba following his apology video.
Kemi Filani reported that the music icon, in a recent episode on Nedu’s podcast, said that a man isn’t built to be sexually active with one woman. He stated that a man can love a woman, but it’s impossible for him to sexually be with only one woman.
Making a u-turn, 2baba, in a video on his Instagram page, admitted that he fucked up. He tendered an apology to his wife Natasha, whom he described as the love of his life, fans and his kids. 2baba said he is deeply sorry, and that’s not who he is.
Taking to his Instagram and Twitter pages to react to it, Ayo noted how it is easy to cast the first stone at the supposed offender. He further noted that no one is questioning if the singer is okay, as many don’t really care.
Ayo Makun said watching the video, he saw a man under duress taking accountability for his actions, not because he’s perfect, but because he’s human. He pointed out how, as men, they’re raised to suffer in silence, whether they’re right or wrong.
The comedian added that when men speak, it rarely ends well, as society blames, misunderstands, and dismisses them. He further added that their vulnerability doesn’t protect them but exposes them.
“It’s always easy to cast the first stone at the supposed offender.
No one pauses to ask him the most human question: “Are you okay?”
And when they do, it’s rarely without an agenda. No one really cares.

Meanwhile, Daddy Freeze stated that the singer was depreciating and turning from a Bentley to a Corolla. He noted how his ex-wife, Annie Idibia, is evolving into a Queen, but the music icon is slowly turning into RadioGad and that he may evolve into a puppet.
Weighing in on it, 2baba’a brother, Charles Idibia claimed that his brother had been captured from inside the frying pan and thrown into an industrial furnace as he accused his girlfriend, Natasha, of controlling and manipulating him. He urged his brother to wake up for the sake of his kids.
Singer, Cynthia Morgan told Natasha that she can’t purge a man like 2face into monogamy overnight. Calling for prayers for the singer, she questioned whether he is a Christian and a church leader.
Media personality, Do2dtun expressed concern for the singer, noting that 2baba never addresses anything like this. He expressed believed that 2baba is vulnerable and someone is milking it and forcing him to be who he isn’t.
