Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw recently made it known that she wasn’t in support of the recent banding of electricity in Nigeria.
News had gotten out that Band A users should expect a hike in their electricity tariff, and this is what triggered Kate Henshaw’s reaction.
In her tweet, Kate Henshaw said that the current banding of electricity in Nigeria is pure theft, and there’s no where in the world that operates their electricity that way.
Going forward, Kate Henshaw advised that the authorities in charge of electricity should give everyone equal electricity and charge them according to their electricity consumption.
Kate Henshaw’s tweet about electricity resonated with a lot of people, as they joined her in lamenting over the hike in electricity tariffs.
