Contrary to report that former music record label boss, Banky W has fallen out with his former signee, Wizkid, the two seem to be in touch.
As many stars gathered on Friday night for the funeral ceremony of the Grammy singer’s mother, Banky W was surprisingly present.
The former E.M.E boss has shut down reports of bad blood with the singer with his presence at the star-studded ceremony.
In videos making rounds online, Banky W was seen rocking a white agbada as he smiled for the cameras. The singer’s wife, Adesua Etomi was noticeably absent at the ceremony.
His presence is a prove that all is well between Banky W and Wizkid, who was his former signee.
A year back, Wizkid had hinted at a fallout with Banky as he publicly cut ties with him by unfollowing him on social media.
Banky W had an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on the BlackBox interview series, where he admitted that he was disappointed with the former EME signee for not showing up at his wedding.
He also went on to claim that the singer owed his record label 3 albums.
According to Banky W, Wizkid wanted to leave the label before the termination of his contract and because of his personality, he couldn’t hold him back.
Hours after his interview, Wizkid replied to his former label boss via Twitter, where he wrote, “My answer to everything is Lol and OK. Chop life abeg.”
To add to it, the award-winning singer had clicked the unfollow button on his boss on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter
Recall that in a past interview, Wizkid had revealed how he left Banky W’s EME record label with zero Naira in his account despite being famous.
According to Wizkid, he left Banky W’s EME record label with nothing in his account, and some people can attest to his words.
