laycon shared cozy photos of himself and a lady on his Instagram page with a caption that left many in doubt.
The singer claimed there is no competition for his mysterious girl as she is the only one.

Laycon’s fans including his bestie, Vee Iye and famous Yoruba comic voice-over artiste, Lekan, reacted to the post.
Many expressed disbelief, claimed the photos were photoshopped and called out the singer to explain himself.
Some also trolled him about his situation with Erica.

Laycon joins Grammy Recording Academy
Kemi Filani recalls that Laycon officially became a member of the Grammy Recording Academy in July 2022.
Laycon made the announcement on his verified Instagram page, where he shared an encrypted photo of himself singing.
He wrote: Africa up! I am now officially a member of the @recordingacademy.
Joining the best creators and professionals who serve, celebrate, and advocate for our music community year-round.
The announcement was followed by congratulatory messages from Big Brother Naija reality stars such as Neo, Antolecky, Boma, and his numerous fans.
Laycon reacts to snub from Headies
Kemi Filani also recalls that Laycon reacted to how he was ignored by the organizers of the Headies Awards for his musical accomplishment.
In a series of tweets, Laycon noted that he wants to be recognized for his crafts even when he doesn’t win an award.
He tweeted, “I have never been a fan of judging people with the adjective “BEST”. However, I see awards as a compliment, something to tell you.
“Hey! We see everything you’ve done, and we think you should get this for your efforts”.
This doesn’t mean every other person didn’t put in work!!!.
