The winner of the Big Brother Naija ‘LockDown’ edition Mercy Eke has sparked reactions online after her new reality TV show ‘Mercy What Next? Premiered on DSTV.
In the short video making the rounds on social media, Mercy Eke probably corrected an impression about food choices for people living in Lagos.
In her words: You have to have your afang soup, she’s like no I have to have the pepper soup ,I am like no you don’t do that , that’s not how we roll in this Lagos.
However, many people were unable to understand what she was saying because of her accent.
This is not the first time Mercy Eke has been criticized for always faking her accent but has continued to act unbothered about it.
As expected, many social media users knocked Mercy Eke over the video and urged her to always express herself without faking any accent to avoid criticisms.
