Following the Service of Songs in honour of Big Brother Naija reality star, Patrick Adebowale Fakoya better known as Rico Swavey, which was attended by family, friends and BBNaija’s former housemates, reality star, Alex has released a status report of the event to the late co-housemate.
Kemi Filani news reported that the reality star passed on to glory on Thursday morning, October 13th following injuries sustained from a ghastly motor accident.
His death was announced by his co-star, Tobi Bakre.
After his Service of Songs, Rico’s close friend, Alex Unusual wrote what she termed a ‘ status report’ to Rico. Telling him how people are reacting to his death.
Sharing the report, Alex began by telling Rico that though this world is stressful but since he would have wanted them to be happy they will stay happy for him.
She went on to give a detailed status report of the situation of things in the event.
According to Alex, many of their co reality stars would not stop crying as many are traumatized and still cannot believe that he is dead.
She also told Rico that his parents are not doing well even though they are trying to be fine.
Alex wrote:
It’s past 1am, You would have wanted us all to be happy. We will stay happy for you. This world is stressful anyway 🤷🏾♀️. You can rest now my fresh boy.
You came into our lives, taught us to smile and you left. I’ll understand all this soon I hope.

Rico Swavey’s funeral arrangements
Recall that his family had released his funeral arrangements.
In a post on his Twitter page, the family updated the public on his funeral rites.On October 19th, a night of tribute and candle light walk, would be held in his honour.
The late reality star would be laid to rest on October 20th. A church service would be held at Methodist Church, Tinubu Square, before his funeral service. Read more here.

Rico Swavey’s management break silence on the cause of his death
Kemi Filani news recalls that the management of the reality star broke their silence on his death.
His management noted how a lot of narratives on the cause of his death have flied round the internet.
Doren hospital, where he was taken for treatment, claimed that the deceased was drunk as he smelt of alcohol when he was brought to the hospital.
Addressing the lingering rumours, his management debunked them, as they claimed that majority were false.
According to them, many influencers had been paid to promote certain narratives.
His management promised to share detailed information on the circumstances surrounding Rico’s accident, treatment and passing.
Rico’s management urged his fans to keep his family in prayers and to continue the spirit of warmth and fellowship.
