Nollywood actor Benson Okonkwo has led many to mourn with Yul Edochie and his wife, May Yul Edochie, as they lay their son to rest.
Reports gathered claimed that the couple laid their first son, Kambilichukwu, to rest today, the 24th of April, 2023.
Sharing a photo of both mother and son, Benson Okonkwo prayed that the deceased would rest in peace and also wished May Yul Edochie would be strong.
“May the soul of Kambilichukwu Rest in peace. Be strong, The Edochies @mayyuledochie it’s well.”
Many are in tears following this revelation. They joined Benson Okonkwo to mourn with May using heartbroken and teary emojis.
Yul Edochie and wife, May lose their first son
Kemi Filani recalls the saddening news of the demise of Yul Edochie and May Edochie’s first son, Kambilichukwu, in March 2023.
The young champ who was celebrated in January died after he was reportedly rushed to the hospital and placed on medical care.
According to reports, Kambilichukwu had read throughout the night on Tuesday in preparation for his exams on Wednesday. After his examination on Wednesday, he joined his friends to play football. While playing, he slumped and developed a seizure.
He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he was confirmed dead.
Yul Edochie tenders deep apology to his wife
It is no news that Yul Edochie fell out with his fans when he had a child and married his colleague Judy Austin.
Kemi Filani also recalls that Yul Edochie succumbed to pressure and publicly apologized to his wife, May, for cheating on her and marrying a second wife.
In a long epistle posted on his Instagram page, Yul Edochie acknowledged that he hurt his wife deeply but stressed that he had been an exceptional father to their four children.
