Actress, Beverly Naya has tackled Nigerian restaurants who insist on reservations despite being ’empty’.
The seasoned role interpreter took to Twitter to complain about Nigerian restaurants for always demanding for reservations even when they have empty seats.
“Nigerian restaurants and “do you have a reservation?” meanwhile your restaurant is empty lol.” she wrote.
Her tweets attracted lots of retweets and reactions as many agreed with her. But some commenters, asked her not to ridicule restaurateurs because they are actually running at a loss while trying to act professionally and honor reservations made by people who most likely would not honor them.
“Honestly, it’s not always the fault of the restaurants. They are actually running at a loss while trying to act professionally and honor reservations made by people who most likely wldnt honor them. They don’t deserve to be ridiculed.” Seiger wrote.

KemiFilani news recalls that Beverly Naya earlier spoke on what inspired her documentary, ‘Skin’, the movie star said that most black women don’t appreciate their colour as many women in our society ‘bleach’ their skin because they want to be seen as more desirable.
“They feel like having dark skin is not beautiful. According to the World Health Organisation, 77 per cent of Nigerian women bleach their skin. Understanding the facts and realising that a lot of people in our society do not have a clear understanding of what colourism is inspired the documentary. It was about creating awareness and allowing people to learn about colourism,” she added.
