Actress Nkechi Blessing has a quick one for BBNaija season 9 housemates, and they may not find it pleasant.
The actress took to Instagram to share her hot take about the ongoing protest, and how it will affect the viewership for the BBNaija show.

”People wey Dey big brother house go think say dem dey watch them like that ooo & I no even get Dstv,na big brother I go chop? If dem sabi una face when una come out just thank God…Mtsewwwwww!!!”
The crux of Nkechi Blessing’s post was that Nigerians couldn’t be bothered with watching BBNaija because of the ongoing protest.
Also, she made mention of the fact that she doesn’t own a DSTV, which brings to mind the drama that occurred with the tariffs for DSTV was heavily spiked, and a lot of Nigerians were disgruntled over the whole situation.
The BBNaija Season 9 came with a little bit of a bland reception, with a lot of netizens vowing not to watch it, and claiming that it was a mere distraction from the issues that Nigeria is currently facing.
When the date for the BBNaija Season 9 premiere was announced, the reception was lukewarm, with a lot of people saying that they weren’t excited about the show.
Regardless, the show organizers kept to their promise of switching things up, by bringing in housemates in pairs, amongst which there are two sets of twins.
Apart from the twins, we also have an aunt/niece duo, which opened a huge discourse as to whether it was appropriate, and whether they would last in the game.
So far, the housemates have spent close to a week in the house, with only minimal drama with regards to forming romantic relationships.
