The organisers of Big Brother Naija have left many talking after teasing Season 9 of the hit reality show.
Kemi Filani reported in March that Big Brother Nigeria Season 9 was set to launch, as DSTV Nigeria took to their platform to hint at the fact that a twist could be unraveling in the Big Brother Nigeria franchise series.
In another post, Biggie had announced that it was introducing a new twist to the game like always and participants of this edition had to bring in a partner. Media host, Ebuka Uchendu made the announcement on his Instagram page, as he revealed that audition for the reality show requires applicants and their partners.
Now in an update to it, the organisers of the show, via it’s Instagram page has teased a new season which would start in July. According to the post on Instagram, the show will begin on a Sunday in July. The organizers urged the show’s fans to mark their calendar.

Recall that last year, the Big Brother Naija franchise ran its All-Stars series, which saw many past winners and past contestants from various seasons come together in one house to compete for the cash prize of 120 million Naira.
At the end of the run, Level-up housemate IleBaye had emerged as the overall winner of the All-Stars show, while Mercy Eke and CeeC had been close runner-ups.
