Following her groundbreaking achievement with her latest movie, Nollywood actress and filmmaker Bimbo Ademoye has penned a heartfelt note to some of her colleagues.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, she penned a note to her godmother, Uduak Isong, noting how she is always one call away. Describing her as her protector, provider and confidant, she appreciated her for everything she does for her as she noted how she can never repay her.
Appreciating Shaffy Bello, she recalled how when she called the veteran to star in her movie, she promised to have her back and didn’t complain with the several filming. She appreciated her cast mate, Timini, for being part of the project and fof his selflessness. She noted how he was there during the journey from pre-production to post-production.
Bimbo also appreciated her alleged boyfriend, VJ Adams, noting how they don’t make people like him any more. Calling him her brother for life, she stated that there is no accolade she would give him that hasn’t already been given to him a long time ago.

Kemi Filani reported days back that Bimbo had hit a huge milestone on YouTube, as her movie, Last Straw, which featured Timini and Shaffy Bello, hit 2.4 million views in just one day. Taking to her Instagram page, Bimbo expressed gratitude to her Maker and fanmily as she questioned what she had done to deserve such love from them, as she wasn’t the perfect filmmaker.
Bimbo has undoubtedly come a long way in the industry. The movie star, during her early career days, was almost taken advantage of by movie producers.
Bimbo made this known in her interview as she recounted how movie producers wanted to take advantage of her curvy physique and stereotype her to s3xual roles during the early stages of her career. The movie star finally got her big break when award-winning filmmaker Uduak Isong gave her the first opportunity to showcase her talent, and since then, her career has skyrocketed.
