Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye has said a powerful prayer for her father.
Taking to her Instagram page to share a photo of her and him, she described her father as her safe place as she revealed that her father would always tell her that no matter what happens outside, she should know she can always come home. Bimbo said she used that word in a movie recently, and for some reason, it hit differently.
Ademoye explained that there is a whole difference between a home and a house and her favorite thing about December is going home to her Daddy and spending Christmas with him. She stated that having all her siblings come home as well us the icing on the cake.
Sending a message to God, she prayed that He keep her father alive as he is old and gray. She added that there’s a lot she still has to do for her.
“My Safe place. My Dad would always say ” No matter what happens Outside, know that you can ALWAYS come home”. I used those words in a movie recently, and for some reason, it hit differently. In June 2024, Bimbo showered her father with heartfelt tributes as he celebrated his birthday. She showered him with accolades and recounted his impact on her life morally, career, and emotionally. Ademoye said her father had set a standard that she was not sure her future husband could match up to.
Recall that when Bimbo won the Best Actress at AMVCA, she took her award to her father, as she recounted how he took her to her first audition and waited for 6hours till she was done. Bimbo noted how the hood produced all the characters that she had blessed her fans with.
