Nollywood Yoruba actress, Bimbo Success, has cried out over how rich actresses in Nollywood, who lack training are ruining the industry.
The mother of two, in an interview with Punch, stated that insufficient training is to blame for actors’ lack of flexibility in the industry.
She claimed that some actresses believe that having money is all they need to produce a successful film.
Bimbo said that the wealthy actresses who make movies without formal training are to blame for the industry’s loss of substance.
She said;
“It is lack of training (that makes actors not flexible in interpreting their roles). There are some people in the industry who do not go for training. There are some ladies, who shot movies just because they had money. They would go behind closed doors to do the movie without prior training. Once they have money, they produce films, even without knowing the job.”

In other news, Anita Joseph while replying her colleague, Kunle Remi revealed why it appears actresses are doing better than their male colleagues.
Anita Joseph gave her reasons why they are better off than their counterparts.

Appearing on the ‘Honest Bunch’ podcast, Kunle Remi mentioned that there are sometimes he drives to a movie location and his female colleagues will pull up in more expensive cars.
According to the Anikulapo star actor, this is surprising because he knows how much he is paid for the movie and also has an idea of how much actresses are paid for the same movie.
Kunle Remi mentioned that actresses are fond of saying they have multiple streams of income when asked how they drive expensive cars.
The actor mentioned that this appearance can negatively affect actresses who are new to the industry as they would expect a lot and will end up being disappointed when they see that the industry is not how it looks.
