Nollywood Yoruba actress Bimpe Akintunde has shared the lesson she took away from watching her colleague, Lateef Adedimeji’s new movie, Lisabi sequel.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, she said she realized that no matter how powerful you are as a man, without the support of a woman, it’s likely you keep trying and never win.
Sending a message to men, she said God wasn’t foolish when he created women as your backbone and support system. She advises men who God blesses with a brave woman to support, to learn to appreciate them. Bimpe noted how a brave woman would go to war with her husband and make sure he wins.
“So I saw LISABI this midnight, and I realize that no matter how powerful you are as a man, without the support of a woman, it’s likely you keep trying and never win; LISABI won the Oloyo war because of A backup of a Brave Woman IKEOLA, moral lesson. Dear Men, God wasn’t foolish when he created Women as your backbone and support system; if you are a man and God bless you with A Brave woman to support you in your journey, learn to Appreciate and Adore them. A Brave Woman will go to war with her Husband and make sure he wins, even laying down her life for him. And for every Brave and supportive woman out there, I pray that you won’t join Force with the wrong person.
