Nollywood actress Bimpe Akintunde has reacted to the draggings she received over her comment on skitmaker Mr Macaroni’s page on the ongoing drama with Toyin Abraham.
Toyin was under heat on Wednesday for arresting one of her trolls and leaving him in police custody for some time. One of the trolls came online to accuse the actress of detaining his mother, a claim the actress denied.
Following this, Nigerians massively reported her to the streaming platform Netflix for her movies to be taken down.
Weighing into it, skitmaker Mr Macaroni
had stated that Toyin shouldn’t have arrested the Twitter user; instead, she should’ve used the right channel to fight him, which would’ve been to take him to court.
Bimpe Akintunde, unaware of what was going on, had taken to Mr Macaroni’s newest post to drop a comment. She wrote “Maca” with several crown and love emojis, which didn’t sit well with some netizens as they dragged her.
Reacting to it, Bimpe stated that there are certain reactions when one’s child, husband or family are involved. She admonished the public to learn how to set boundaries and take it easy on others. Further admonishing them to learn how to mind their business, she questioned why netizens must always involve themselves in all issues.
Bimpe made it known that she wasn’t aware of what was going on, and she had to start calling people to find out what was happening. She claimed that one troll even went to her DM, saying Toyin wouldn’t be pleased with her comment. Lamenting over the insults she received, she prayed for Toyin Abraham.
