Nollywood actress Biodun Okeowo has responded to those urging her to expose the name of the Marketers who pressured her to quit Nollywood.
Kemi Filani reported a day back that Biodun had opened up on why she left the Yoruba movie industry. The curvy actress claimed that marketers were the reason she left the industry after blãcklisting her for refusing to sleep with them. She said they even told producers to stop featuring her in movies and went as far as removing her head from the poster of a film where she played the lead role.
Following her bombshell revelation, many social media users had urged the Yoruba actress to expose the names of the Marketers.
Addressing them on her Instagram page, she questioned if she should as she noted how it is callout season. Biodun said the marketers are alive and know themselves after seeing her post.
Okeowo noted how God has done well for her despite not featuring in movies for more than a decade. Biodun, however, said that there are some few good Marketers in the industry.

These marketers are alive, and seeing it all; they know themselves. God has done well, and I’m doing extremely well despite not featuring in movies for more than a decade. Isn’t God marvelous?

In September 2023, Omoborty spoke out on the ills in the movie industry, revealing how some of her colleagues were blackl!sted from movie roles because they failed to compromise their principles with influential figures. She disclosed that some of them experienced the embarrassment of having their children sent home from school back then because they hadn’t been offered work and couldn’t pay school fees. However, by the grace of God, they were able to overcome those challenges.
In November, of that year, Omoborty turned a new leaf and embarked on a new journey. The Yoruba star revealed that she was saying goodbye to body-revealing outfits, as she urged brands to help make her reality come true.
