Nollywood actress, Biodun Okeowo otherwise known as Omoborty couldn’t hold back her tears as she reunited with her son after 5 years.
Sharing a video of the emotional reunion, she revealed that the last time she saw her son was in 2019, before her mother’s demise. She disclosed that she was with him when she received the news of her mother’s death, and since then, she hasn’t been able to visit Canada.
The proud mother stated that embracing him after 5 years apart filled her heart with tears of joy and overflowing gratitude to God. She added that she feels incredibly emotional and grateful beyond measure to hold her son again after all these years.
Expressing gratitude to her Maker, she added that she deceived her son into thinking he was going to meet an inner circle of his mother at the airport, unknowingly that it was her visiting.
Biodun admitted that not seeing her son for that long put fear in her, especially about his inner circle, but all her fears were proved wrong when she met his friends and their parents.
“Hmmmmm, I saw my son last before my mom’s demise in 2019.
I was with him when I received the news of my mom’s death, and since then, I’ve not been able to visit Canada.
Embracing him after 5 long years apart fills my heart with tears of joy and overflowing gratitude to Jehovah.
I told him a little white lie, saying he was going to meet someone dear to me at the airport. Little did he know, he was coming to pick me up.
Feeling incredibly emotional and grateful beyond measure to hold my son again after all these years. Thank you, God, for guiding us back to each other.
I feel so blessed beyond words.
This moment is a true testament to God’s grace, filled with thanksgiving.
Hmmmm! Not seeing my son for that long instilled fear in me, but upon getting to Canada without informing him, and seeing everything, including the friends he chose to move with and their parents, gave me a sense of relief. Now I can sleep peacefully and accept that @faiznszn did not deviate from the way he was raised”.
Last year, Biodun Okeowo had been left emotional over a sweet gesture from her senior colleague, Funke Akindele.
Biodun m had taken to her Instagram page to promote her son’s music and Funke Akindele who was oblivious to his talent faulted Biodun for not promoting him and informing her of his music career.
Offering to assist his career, Funke told Biodun to link her up with him as she could dance to his songs and promote him. This left Biodun speechless and she publicly appreciated her, while also urging her fans to say a word of prayer for Funke Akindele.
