Nollywood actress, Bolaji Ogunmola has reacted to a viral video of Big Brother Naija’s former housemate, Kaisha being shamed over her new line of business.
Kemi Filani reported that Kaisha’s lookalike sister, Zaynab had shared a video on TikTok of her provision store, which houses several goods like noodles, milk, sweets, and others.
In the viral clip, Zaynab gave a tour of the numerous provisions that are in her warehouse, which is quite large. A social media user, who mistook her for Kaisha made a mockery of her living condition following her show.
He taunted her over her status, noting how a BBNaija star has resorted to selling noodles to make ends meet.
Taking to her Instagram page to defend her, Bolaji stated that the post got her triggered because she had experienced something similar.
She noted how celebrities in Hollywood are complaining of poor pay, not to mention Nigerian celebrities, especially with the current economy. She questioned if fans think one’s source of income is enough, especially when one has multiple mouths to feed.
Addressing people like the troll, she told them to keep it moving if they don’t have anything nice to say about a young woman working hard and trying to double their money.
“This entire post has got me triggered because I have experienced something similar and this was said to my face.
If celebrities in Hollywood are complaining that they don’t make enough what do you think people in Nigeria are making??? With the current economy you think one source of income is enough????
If you see young women working hard and trying to double their money in whatever legit way and you have nothing nice to say, just keep it moving and don’t drop any silly comment.
Some of us have too many mouths to feed and we have so many things we want to achieve and we have to work extremely hard to get it.
If you see me in Lagos island market (yes I have a store there) trying to sell you sanitary pad please patronize me or keep it moving. We are not ashamed to work and it’s okay if you buy into the lies people feed you on social media but don’t put me on any form of pedestal that I didn’t ask for.
Thank you and God bless”.

A few days back, Toyin Alausa had broken down in tears on Instagram over her financial situation as she recounted how she got so emotional and overwhelmed on her way from work and was drained and exhausted from a series of jobs she has been on, yet when she looked at her account balance, the math wasn’t mathing.
She questioned herself about where the figures went throughout the year and wept for herself, stating that most of them in Nollywood don’t have extra support other than what they earn and yet they still extend love to family and friends.
Alausa added that it’s unreasonable for anyone to assume that screen life is the same as Real life and expect her to live the facade some people live.
Joining her, Faithia Williams lamented over the challenges of being an A-list actress and a workaholic, as she revealed how Hollywood actress, Taraji Henson’s touching interview resonated with her.
Faithia pointed out how she puts so much effort into things, but yet doesn’t earn much.
