Naga Jhansi has committed suicide at her home in an apartment complex in Sri Nagar colony, Hyderabad on Wednesday, February 6, 2019.
Local police have said that the 21-year-old was found alone in her apartment at the time of the incident.
According to local media, the Bollywood actress’ brother, Durga Prasad, alerted the police after knocking repeatedly on her door without any response from her.
Naga was found dead after the door was finally broken to admit the police.
The remains of the deceased has now been moved to Gandhi Hospital where an autopsy is set to be carried out, while the case has been filed at the Punjagutta police station.
The reports revealed that the deceased had been depressed over the fact that her family did not approve of the man she was in love with, for the fact that he was a distant relative.
Her family have suggested that her depression may have pushed her to commit suicide.
The police are reportedly poring over her cell phone records in hopes of finding more clues which could explain her death.
Meanwhile, there is an ongoing investigation into the case .
Naga was made popular for her roles in different serials especially Pavitra Bandhan on MAA TV.
