Nigerian comedian Bovi Ugboma has hailed music star, Davido and billionaire businessman, Obi Cubana for shutting down the internet with their activities.
Kemi Filani reported two days back that Davido was the talk of the country as he tied the knot to his better half, Chioma. As expected, celebrities from the entertainment industry, dignitaries, public figures and important personalities from different sectors of the economy all graced the occasion. From Governors to Monarchs, Senators, billionaires, politicians and celebrities, all were present at the occasion, making it a memorable one. The wedding of would undoubtedly go down in history as one of the most talked about weddings in Africa.
In 2021, Obi Cubana also broke the internet as he buried his mother in grand style in Oba, Anambra state. The businessman rose to fame following the burial ceremony which attracted business executives, pop stars like Davido, Dbanj, KCee, E-Money, Poco Lee and Ubi Franklin and actors, Kanayo Kanayo, Alex Ekubo and Williams Uchemba.
The burial reverberated Nigeria for days and weeks as it showcased the height of grandeur and richness. The high point of it all was when the businessman received 246 cows from his friends.
Noting this, Bovi while sharing photos of Obi Cubana and Davido together at the singer’s wedding ceremony, noted how they had the toughest event in the country. He further noted how these are the things people do for love.
“Toughest wedding X toughest funeral. Things we do for love”.
Obi Cubana replied, noting how 2021 and 2024 choked the internet. “Bovi!!! I dey tell you oooo 2021 & 2024!!!”.
