Nigerian singer, Brymo has slammed Peter Okoye of Psquare fame, for belittling Seun Kuti.
Kemi Filani reported that Seun Kuti and Peter Okoye had gotten into a messy social media fight over Labor Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
Peter Okoye, who is proud supporter of Peter Obi, while tackling Seun Kuti, slammed him for profiting off his father’s name.
Bragging, Peter noted how his father was a nobody yet he made a name for himself, unlike, Kuti who is profiting off his father’s name.
“My late father was a nobody but today everyone knows the OKOYES! Dude try removing “KUTI” from you make make I know weda anybody sabi you!
Remain in that your Local SHRINE while people like us and others continue excelling Globally! YOU CAN’T SHAME THE SHAMELESS”.
Chipping in, Brymo slammed Peter Okoye for undermining Seun Kuti. Defending Seun, he pointed out how Peter Okoye’s bragging about his status has belittled him.
Instigating beef, Brymo stated that he doubts the singer’s success as he belongs to sponsors
“Bros…you never delete?…you go keep this post wey trifle your pops, just cause it reads like you are self-made and he inherited fame?…that’s your point right?…this belittle yours. This is quite self serving, I doubt you own your successes, you belong to your sponsors?”.
Peter Okoye slams Seun Kuti for calling Peter Obi an Opportunist
Kemi Filani reported that Peter Okoye had slammed Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti for saying Labour party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi is an opportunist.
Seun Kuti had stated that it takes the effort of dedicated Nigerians to save Nigeria, not an opportunist like Peter Obi.
In an interview on TheMicOnPodcast, Seun Kuti argued that despite his relationship with one of the Presidential candidates, Omoyele Sowore, he believes that no politician can save Nigeria except for Nigerians themselves.
The legendary singer’s son insisted that even if Sowore wins the election, he can not function efficiently in a country with PDP and APC controlled states.
He pressed on to highlight how Peter Obi is an opportunist who moved to a socialist party, LP, after losing the primaries at PDP.
Seun Kuti insisted that Obi is simply an internet president whose election starts and ends on social media but not in a reality where he lacked structural background.
Reacting to this Peter Okoye wrote: “Dude just erased his father’s history. You said only the propel of Nigeria can save Nigeria. Is PO and the rest candidates not Nigerian people? Shame! Shame! Shame!!!”
Not just Peter Okoye, as expected, other ‘Obidients’ were not having it with Seun Kuti as they rolled out their thoughts.
