Nollywood actress Bukky Wright has opened up on her remarriage plans.
In an interview with the BBC, the Yoruba actress said she is open to giving marriage a second chance if she finds the right man. She also made it known that if God forbids her from getting married, she wouldn’t.
“If God has a man who goes to the age of six, I won’t wait until he is five and a half.”
“If God says he will go to the top of the mountain, he will not stop until he reaches the top of the mountain.”
It’s something I like, but only if God forbids it. I don’t tell women to try it, because I like it”.
Elsewhere in the interview, Bukky spoke about actresses who are exposing themselves. She pointed out that actresses aren’t the only ones doing this, as many women in Nigeria have joined the trend.
She added that she often asks men if it’s because of them that women expose their breasts, and they often say they prefer their women covered.
The veteran also explained the differences that have affected the theatre industry, starting with the equipment they use.
She told her fans to look forward to her new work coming soon.
Kemi Filani reported in 2014 that Bukky Wright’s four-year marriage to Adewale Onitiri had crashed. According to reports, the crack in their marriage became wider due to the former couple’s distance. The reports further claimed that Bukky’s escapades in Lagos while her husband was in New Jersey were the final straw for their marriage.
The famous actress was also married to Gboyega Amu (father of her two sons), a well known Journalist Femi Davies, then Bolaji Basia.
In February, Bukky Wright, during a discussion with Teju Baby Face, spoke about her battles with depression. She disclosed how she was on depression medication to help curb the killing issue, and her children had to step in and help her overcome the problem. The versatile actress gushed over her children, calling them her first critique and pillar.

The beautiful screen diva who had been away from the big screen for a long period of time starred in a movie, Red Circle produced by Nora Awolowo. The producer of the movie confirmed her appearance as they noted how people asked for it.
