Award-winning Afrobeats singer, Burna Boy has finally addressed the rumours of his involvement in Cubana club shooting.
Recall that last year, the singer made headlines after he was alleged to have shit partygoers because of a woman.
Now speaking out on it during his recent concert in Lagos, Burna Boy noted how he is still performing in Nigeria despite the several rumours trailing him. Burna Boy also touched on rumours of his mother dancing for the late Fela.
The Grammy singer who seems hurt from the rumours, laid curses on his haters. In what seems like a New Year message to his haters, Burna Boy stated that God would punish anyone who doesn’t love him.
“I dey here with una after you said I killed person for Cubana.
After una talk say my mama dance for Fella. No wahala.
I still love you that’s why I am here. Like I don’t love me na God go punish you”.
He added,
“Fucking National TV dey talk like. Don’t know what is fucking happening and you all still laughing, not knowing it is serious. This na my life, their fit end my life because of rubbish”.
Burna Boy’s security allegedly assault club goers
Kemi Filani news reported on June 8 that Burna Boy’s security had assaulted clubgoers. The singer had been alleged to have called a married woman which angered her husband, who was also at the club.
The situation escalated as his security shot the man while the singer laughed off the incident and left the club.
Lady calls out Obi Cubana for abetting Burna Boy
Steph Briella Neme, the married woman who Burna Boy’s security accosted called out Obi Cubana as she spoke out for the first time following the incident.
In a series of post on her Instagram page, Briella stated that she took time out to heal and process the events that occured which left her partner and her bestfriend’s husband hospitalized.
She recounted how they all went to Obi Cubana’s club in Lagos at 3am celebrating their childhood friend who was getting married when the ill-fated happened.
They were all having a good time when Burna Boy and his friends came in and one of them approached her.
She stated that she turned down the offer to meet with the singer as she told his friend who approached her that she was married.
It was at the third attempt that things escalated as they all flared up.
Burna Boy’s friend allegedly attacked one of their friends and this situation degenerated and turned into a fight.
As the fight started, Cubana’s security stepped in and calmed the situation but unfortunately, Burna Boy’s security started another fight and shot into the air which left club attendees screaming and running for safety.
The lady revealed that she was traumatized and broken down since the incident.
