Award-winning superstar singer, Burna Boy has replied his colleague, Brymo for shading him in his recent interview.
Kemi Filani reported that Brymo had stated that Burna Boy isn’t lyrically up to his standard. He made this known while reacting to Burna Boy’s diss freestyle where he insinuated that Brymo has ‘fallen off’. He added that despite the awards Burna has, it doesn’t mean he is better than him as winning an award doesn’t mean you’re the best.
Brymo went on to declare himself the finest vocalist in Africa. According to him, he doesn’t need to think about it as he knows that he is better than everybody.
Reacting to it, Burna Boy knocked him for using Yoruba music proverb to sing for me when we have the likes of K1 and Saheed Osupa, who are Fuji singers.
Calling himself a King, he noted how people say anything just to get at him.
“At this point they do and say anything to get at the KING.
Werey dey sing Yoruba proverb music for us.
When K1 and Saheed Osupa dem still dey carry us trabaye”.
Recall that Burna Boy and Brymo had a public feud sometime back, after Brymo accused Burna of being a song thief, claiming that he lacked originality and had a penchant for using other artists’ work without proper credit or royalties. Brymo’s allegations took a swipe at Burna Boy’s reputation, accusing him of not owning his musical success.
Burna Boy initially remained silent in response to Brymo’s accusations. However, he eventually broke his silence with a freestyle song, where he took a clear shot at Brymo, telling him that he fell off.
Last week, Burna had blown hot at foreign media platforms over a resurfaced photo of him without a beard. He noted how he shaved his beards in 2021 and not now. However, it gives him joy to know that with all the history he has been setting and breaking, they only care about who he is sleeping with and his shaved beard.
Tendering an apology to Nigerian media, he stated that he thought Nigerian blogs’ stupidity was unique, and now he knows they learnt it from the West.
The singer had also revealed his plans for his colleagues whom he hates. He stated that he is trying to get a pilot to fly above the houses of those he doesn’t like. Giving reason, he revealed that he plans to urinate on them from the sky and enjoy as it falls on them.
