Bose Ogulu, the mother and manager of superstar singer, Burna Boy has taken pride in him despite losing his 4 Grammy nomination.
The ever-proud mother, via her Instagram page, called her son the blueprint of Afrobeat music as she praised him for his legacy.
She noted how her son is continuously etching his name in the sands of time and further described him as the gift of God that adds blessings and no sorrow.

Kemi Filani reported earlier on that Sunday, February 4th, music stars from across the globe gathered at the Crypto Com Arena in Los Angeles for the 66th Academy Awards.
Unfortunately, no Nigerian artist won any award as they lost to their rival. Burna Boy who scored 4 nominations, Global Music Performance, Best African Music, Best Melodic Rap, and Best Global Music Album, lost them all to his rivals.
Burna’s song ‘Alone’ was lost to the trio of Zakir Hussain, Bela Fleck, and Edgar Myer’s song ‘Pashto’. City Boys also lost in the Best African Music Performance to South African singer, Tyla. For the Best Melodic Rap performance category, Burna Boy lost to American rappers, Lil Durk and J Cole. His last nomination lost was to World Fusion band Shakti’s ‘This Moment’.
Despite the loss, his mother remains proud of him.
Last year, Bose Ogulu had expressed pride in him for his incredible performance at the Dreamville festival.
Sharing a photo of her, Akin, and Burna Boy, she stated that Burna Boy had brought the house down and she was still shaking from his performance.
Similarly, she rejoiced as he became the first African artiste to perform at the Billboard Music Awards.
Bose Ogulu took to her Instagram page to applaud her son for the record-breaking achievement, as she listed out the many records her son had broken.
According to her, Burna Boy is the first African artiste to not only perform at Billboard but also at Grammys, BET Hip-hop awards, and Brits.
