A Nigerian businesswoman, Oghene Icho Peters identified as Pretty Maa on Instagram, has weighed into the ongoing clash between Funke Akindele and Late Jumoke Aderounmu’s brother.
The businesswoman questioned if Adeola Aderounmu, the deceased’s brother also reached out to the actress when she lost her mother or had marital issues. She questioned if it’s only the rich that help people and further questioned if Funke would have prevented the death of her sister.
Bombarding him with more questions, she wondered if Funke was just a regular boss without fame or wealth, would he have expected so much from her?
Telling him to take a chill, she noted how the rich and public figures have personal demons they fight every day.
“When Funke lost her mum. Did you also reach you? When she had marital issues did you reach out? Abi na only rich dey help people? Would Funke have prevented the death of your sister? If Funke was just a regular boss without fame or much wealth would you still expect much from her? Bro take a chill pill even the rich/public figures have personal demons they fight every day”.
Recall that Late Jumoke Aderounmu’s brother, Adeola dragged Funke for abandoning his late sister. Adeola had tackled Funke for publicly mourning her when she had abandoned his sister during her dying moments.
Calling her out over her fake love and hypocrisy, he e revealed that his sister had put a call through to Funke several times and had reached out to her through her friends but she didn’t turn up for her. Questioning why the eye service, he added that it is now she is dead, she was showing fake love.
Reacting to his claims, Funke took to her Instagram Live to break down in tears as she noted how she lost her mother, marriage, and politics and is trying to get her life back together. She stated that she saw Jumoke’s brother post that she abandoned the actress, which was untrue, as she never knew Jumoke was sick.
Replying to her, Adeola told her to stop acting on Live video as he claimed that the actress only reached out to him when she died. He questioned how Funke expected him to reply to her when she only remembered his sister after her death.
