Nollywood actress and mental health advocate Chacha Eke Faani has shared a deep message on healing.
Taking to her Instagram page to share a video of her and her eldest daughter, she stated that healing doesn’t mean the damage never existed. Rather, it means the damage no longer controls your lives.
“Healing doesn’t mean the damage never existed.

Taking to her comment section, one Vivian Godwin43 prayed for healing to locate any bleeding soul. She wrote, “May healing locate any bleeding soul out there. Amen.

Last week, Chacha Eke reconciled with her mother, a year after she recounted her mental struggle with her. She noted how she has 3 daughters and can’t imagine the untold trauma of being forgotten by any of them.
The wife of filmmaker Austin Faani went on to use her mother as a point of reference to pray for those suffering from mental and spiritual captivity.
Recall that in June 2023, Chacha spoke about how her mental health challenge affected her relationship with her mother. She reflected on how she had disdain and hatred for her mother as she got older, and because of the wrong information she got from several men of God over her man!c episodes, she began to wish her mother death.
Following her mental struggle with Bīpolar, she has become a proud advocate for mental illness. During one of her many outreaches, she recounted how she would always destroy properties in her house during her man!c episodes.
She recounted an ugly experience in Enugu at Rit Hotel, where she wrecked the whole hotel and repeated the same incident two years later, which led to being hospitalised, where she was eventually diagnosed and given drugs which she would always flush in the toilet.
