“Regulate dollars in domiciliary account” Filmmaker Charles of play advices the Nigerian government

Filmmaker Charles of Play has in recent development disclosed the next step that the government should take concerning the current economy in Nigeria. 

In an open letter to the lawmakers in Nigeria, he expressed that lawmakers should make cash possession of above $10,000 illegal. 

He also expressed that every cash above $10,000 in a person’s possession should be deposited in the bank or seized. 

He further advised the bf ve rent to regulate the amount in domiciliary accounts.  He stated that  every domiciliary account should have a limit of $50,000 for individuals and also have a limit of $300,000 for companies. 

He expressed that if a person has excess dollars in their Naira account, the government should tell them to either convert it to Naira or send it back to the United States. 

 In his words, he says, 

“Dear lawmakers, 1. Make cash possession of above $10,000 illegal. Every cash above $10,000 in your possession should be deposited in the bank or seized. 2. Every domiciliary account should have a limit of $50,000 for individuals and $300,000 for companies. If you have excess dollars, convert it to Naira or send it back to the United States. Implement this policy and watch Naira appreciate to how it was 15 years ago. Thank me later.”

Now, also recall that yesterday, the son of President Tinubu, Seyi, had also spoken out about the current economy in Nigeria. He advised Nigerians to continue to exercise patience as things would soon get better. 

He however hinted at the fact that things would naturally get worse before getting better. Also, President Tinubu’s daughter had also spoken out as she also told Nigerians to be patient and hopeful that things would turn out better. 

Netizens had slammed the duo as they expressed that they were both enjoying the luxuries of life while telling Nigerians to continue to endure the sufferings happening.
