Legendary Nigerian singer, Charly Boy better known as Area Fada, has cheated death again.
The talented singer has expressed gratitude to God as he becomes a Prostrate Cancer Survivor. He shared the good news on his Instagram page with a video of him being wheeled on a hospital bed.
Charly Boy stated that many things happened this year, 2023, both the good, the bad and the ugly, but most importantly he cheated death. He noted how Prostrate has killed many but couldn’t kill him.
He added that though this year is coming to an end, but by God’s grace, he and every one of his fans and followers shall see 2024.
“Many things bin happen dis year 2023.
The good, the bad and the ugly.
But most importantly, I cheated death for something wey no suppose kill us but has killed many.
Am a Prostate Cancer Survivor.
God, am grateful.
I know say dis year remain small but still by his Grace, me and everybody reading dis, shall see 2024.

In April, Charly Boy shared his battle with prostate cancer, recounting how he survived prostate cancer.
While sharing a video of him being wheeled out of the theatre, Charly Boy disclosed that he had been battling the ailment for over 10 days.
He revealed that being a survivor is the greatest favor God has done for him, as he appreciated God for sparing his life and his family for their support as well as thanked the Nigerian doctor who performed his surgery.
Months later, Area Fada announced his plans to hold Thanksgiving over his life.
Charly Boy isn’t the only celebrity who cheated death.
Early this month, Regina Daniels was in a grateful mood after escaping death for the second time this year.
The movie star and entrepreneur, in a deleted post on her Instagram page, recounted her first flight scare and near-death experience while visiting her beloved state Asaba, Delta State.
According to her, death looked at her face for the second time this year and her heart almost exploded because it was at the same frequency as the plane, and the only thing that she thought of was her sons.
