Nigerian legendary singer Charles Oputa better known as Charly Boy has recounted how he was raped by a nanny.
In an interview with Muvmnt Studio, he shared his experience of being molested as a child and getting infected with STDs. According to him, he was raped by his nanny and didn’t feel abused at that time because he enjoyed it and didn’t know what was going on. He further revealed that by age 12, he had already contracted gonorrhea from going to a brothel.
“I was raped by my nanny. I didn’t feel abused because I actually enjoyed it. I didn’t know what the hell was going on, but it felt good. At 12, I had already contracted gonorrhea. I was going to all the brothels around”.

In an interview in February, Charly Boy revealed why he doesn’t like women anymore. The legendary singer revealed that he used to like women, especially those who are well endowed, as he loves derriere and boobs. Unfortunately, things have changed and he wasn’t into women anymore because his manhood can’t rise.
Recall that in April 2023 Charly Boy shared his battle with prostate cancer, recounting how he survived prostate cancer. He revealed that being a survivor is the greatest favor God had done for him, as he appreciated God for sparing his life and his family for their support as well as thanked the Nigerian doctor who performed his surgery.
In December, Area Fada revealed that he had cheated death again, as he became a Prostrate Cancer Survivor. He shared the good news on his Instagram page with a video of him being wheeled on a hospital bed, as he recounted all he faced in 2023 and noted how Prostate has killed many.
In other news, in 2022, Charly Boy hinted at divorce from his wife of 45 years, Diane Oputa. The controversial singer had vented out over how tiring his marriage had become and questioned how his followers would feel if he told them he was returning to bachelorhood. However, the actor was able to make things work with his wife as he took back his words.
