Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ former housemate, Chichi has opened up on her childhood experience and her beef with former best friend and colleague, Phyna.
In an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Chichi broke down in tears as she revealed that she went through things a girl child shouldn’t go through while growing up.
She hinted at experiencing physical and sexual abuse, as she reemphasized that there was nothing she didn’t pass through while growing up.
Speaking on her career as a stripper, Chichi stated that there were a lot of things that happened to her, that made her a stripper, but Nigerians wouldn’t understand or relate to her story.
The reality star disclosed that she fell into depression and was in a miserable state after the reunion and had to deactivate her social media accounts, as she felt the reunion was a plot to destroy her brand.
On her lawsuit against Phyna, she stated that her co-reality star made several allegations against her, hence, why she sued her in court.
“I have gone through things a girl child shouldn’t go through. Just think of anything in your head, I have gone through that. I have seen it all, physical abuse, sexual abuse and all.
There is nothing that I have gotten that anyone gave me for free. The only thing I got for free is Big Brother Naija, cause I don’t know how it happened but I just thank God, because nobody ever saw something good in me even when I was a child.
A lot of things happened, that’s why I went into stripping, but a lot of people wouldn’t understand, because Nigerians aren’t ready to relate to my story.
After the reunion, I was depressed. I deactivated my Instagram, and even now I am on and off because it’s not easy for me.

Phyna opens up on her altercation with Chichi during the reunion, speaks on her N100m lawsuit
Phyna, on her part, while addressing their beef during an interview with Chude Jideonwo, stated that her outburst stemmed from the words Chichi used against her, which the show organizers didn’t air.
She revealed that Chi-Chi called her an abortionist and also body-shamed her, which made her flare up.
Phyna pointed out the irony of how Chichi could body shame her, when she has a natural body, unlike her who went under the knife to get a curvier shape.
Speaking on the lawsuit, Phyna stated that she wasn’t afraid of being sued as she had already prepared to battle things out with her in court.
Chichi reportedly files N100m defamation lawsuit against Phyna
Recall that in July, Chichi had reportedly filed an N100 million lawsuit over her co-star, Phyna.
According to reports, Chichi was demanding 100 million as damages for Phyna’s defamatory statement against her.
Her lawyers stated that the allegations of Chichi poisoning her friend in Cyprus are untrue, full of lies, malicious, and slanderous.
In the lawsuit, her lawyers added that Phyna’s statement had cost Chichi several endorsement deals and had put a taint on her image.
