Portuguese footballer, Christiano Ronaldo and his fiancee, Georgina Rodriguez are currently mourning the death of their son.
The couple had announced in October that they were expecting twins, a boy and a girl, but unfortunately, the newborn son has passed on.
Sharing the sad news to his over 400 million followers, he stated that only the birth of their baby girl gives them the strength to live this moment with hope and happiness.
Christiano thanked the doctors and nurses for their care and support.
He kindly asked for privacy as he and his fiancee navigates through the deep loss.
He wrote, “It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parent can feel. Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support. We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time. Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you”.
