A close associate of Big Brother Naija Season 3 finalist, Nina Ivy has debunked reports of her first marriage.
KFN reported that Nina Ivy made headlines yesterday following reports of her second marriage.
Speaking up on her behalf with Instablog9ja, the close associate of Nina Ivy stated that she was never married to Anthony Anoliefo.
According to her, the wedding was staged and was a ploy for Nina to remove the babymama stigma.
She revealed that Nina and Anthony were business friends, before they got intimate and welcomed a son.
The ex lovebirds planned the wedding to remove the stigma from her.
She also revealed that Anthony never engineered Nina’s move to Atlanta, US and didn’t contribute to her relocation.
She added that all the videos and pictures she made in the U.S with Anthony, was a move to ensure people thought they were still married.
The ex loverbirds, are however, still on good terms and are co-parenting their son.
Nina Ivy ties the knot
The reality star reportedly got remarried to an African-American, Chris Miller.
According to reports, Nina Ivy met him in 2021 and dated for seven months before tying the knot.
The couple held a low-key court wedding in the United States.
A look at the reality star’s Instagram page, showed she had changed her Instagram bio to Nina Ivy Miller.
Nina Ivy speaks on her marriage to Anthony
Recall that Nina was first alleged to be married to Anthony.
She made headlines when her then- husband didn’t show up on their traditional wedding in 2020.
The ex loverbirds welcomed a son together, who they christened, Denzel.
Speaking out on her mystery wedding, Nina insisted she would not reveal the identity of her hubby because he was a public person.
She said, “I didn’t know that I would get married early; it just happened. I think it was God’s perfect timing. My hubby is extremely private and we are fine the way it is.
“When the time for my white wedding comes, family and close friends would definitely be notified. I’m not yet sure how I want it.”
The fair-skinned social media personality also waved aside claims that the marriage was a publicity stunt and that she was hiding her hubby’s identity for fear of losing him.
