Actress Lilian Afegbai has weighed in on the recent controversy surrounding Ghanaian actress Nana Addo not tagging Nigerian designer Ezinne for her AMVCA outfit.
The Nollywood actress took to her social media page to lend her support to the actress. She expressed that Nigerian designers should not feel entitled to getting tags from celebrities especially if they were paid for their duty.
Recall that yesterday, Nigerians designer Ezinne had taken to her social media page to call out Actress Nana for not tagging her. She has revealed that she had been the designer behind the dress but was however not tagged for it.
This had created a lot of ruckus and controversy online.
Also recall that yesterday, Kemi Filani had reported that Lilian Afegbai had gotten emotional over seeing her friend Kehinde Bankole win during the AMVCA.
The actress couldn’t stop herself from crying for joy over her colleague and long-time friend Kehinde Bankole’s AMVCA win.
It is no longer news that the talented actress beat other nominees at the just concluded AMVCA 10th edition to win the Best Actress award.
Tearfully celebrating her friend, Lilian expressed how happy she was for her as she stated that it had been long overdue for the movie star.
Also recall that Lilian Afegbai had a few months back apologised to ladies who were in their 30s when she was still a growing teenager.
She expressed that as a growing young girl, she did not know the gravity of what it means to be 30 and not have some certain things achieved.
She recounted how as a young person, she used to look at 30-year-olds as people who are supposed to already have partners and spouses as well as children.
She revealed that she used to believe that people in their 30s should be settled financially and otherwise.
